Paintball Tournament (15 October)

В воскресенье 15-го октября проводим турнир по пейнтболу.
Есть 16 дешевых былетов (4$ каждый) + нужно купить патроны ($ 25 за 100 патронов).
Поскольку количество билетов ограничено, пишите в комментариях кто прийдет и как с вами связаться.

В каждый билет входит:
- Маска, шлем, форма, и commando battle-pack.
- Оружие (Latest semi-automatic gun). Газ.
- Целый день игры (в любой день)
- Обед

From Gosford take Wisemens Ferry Road to Stop sign (20kms) then right into Georges Down Drive and travel 6.3kms to springs road, left at Greta Road
Возможно патроны будут дешевле, т.к. нас много и будем брать сразу на всех.

Привіт! Так скільки ви людей вже набрали і скільки ще потрібно?
Я дуже хотів би попасти, але все залежлить від того коли я працюю і т.д. Дам знати як тільки зможу. Якщо буду йти, то хотілося б з собою взяти одного-двох товаришів…

Сорри, PanTzeR у нас многие не понимают по-русски, т.к. родились в Австралии, а на аглицком писать не охота (да его тоже некоторые не понимают). Если кратко, то проводим турнир по пейнтболу, есть 16 очень дешевых билетов $4 + патроны. С датой пока окончательно не определились, скорее всего перенесем на октябрь. Желающих уже достаточно много и нас скорее всего будет больше чем 16 человек. Договорился с организаторами что каждый следующий билет будет тоже стоить $4 + патроны.
Начинаем заказывать. Т.к. осталось 56 мест. за 16 билетов я уже заплатил, осталось проплатить за каждого участника за патроны. Завтра выложу список всех участников и начнем заказывать.
В стоимость билета входит все кроме патронов. Из одежды нужно только иметь удобную обувь, которую не жалко запачкать краской. Все остальное выдадут.
Обед: мясо с гриля, салат, хлеб входит в стоимость билета.
Детей до 18 лет брать нельзя.

Leave Sydney on the F3, take the Peats Ridge exit, travel 14.5km, turn left into George Downs Drive just after servo, travel 9.6km then turn right into Springs Rd left at Greta Rd.
MT White
Take the Sydney-Newcastle (F3) Expressway, cross the Hawkesbury River Bridge and then take the MT White Exit.
After taking the MT white exit this will then bring you out at the Old Pacific Highway intersection.
Turn Right at the intersection and 100 meters down on your Right Hand side will be the “ Road Warriors Café”.
Our representative will LEAVE there at 8.30am sharp and will escort the groups to the field which is 8 minutes away
If running late please follow the following directions.
After taking the Mount White Exit, proceed straight across the intersection and follow Morgans Road.
Paintball Pete’s signs are located along the roadside to indicate the correct way.
Once you have made you way down the hill at 30KPH come to the fork in the middle of the road and take the right hand side.
Just down from the fork, approximately 200 meters, take a hard right at the stop sign. Follow the dirt road for about 1.5km to the gate and proceed to the end of the property where the car park is situated.

После продолжительных обсуждений мы решили сразу брать 200 патронов и цена возросла до $55.

Approximate travelling time
1.5 hours from Lidcombe;
1 hour from Central Business District of Sydney.
Arrival time
9.30am.
Cost
$55.00 per person. This includes:
* 200 paintballs.
* All day field fees (12-16 games per day).
* Latest ear to ear head protective mask.
* High quality paintball guns & gas refills.
* Full camouflage overalls and neck protector.
* For ladies – padded vests and chest guard, and fingerless gloves.
* Experienced professional staff.
* Hot showers and flushing toilets.
* Parking for cars.
* Tea, coffee and biscuits all day.
* All you can eat BBQ including marinated chicken, garlic potato bake, pepper rissoles, sausages, salad, fruit & bread.
Drinks (i.e. softdrinks and bottles of water) are not included in the $55.00 cost, however, they can be bought at the centre. It is suggested that you bring your own soft drinks and water given that the price charged at Kulnura appears prohibitive.
There is no need later to shoot blanks off the field because of the absence of a groin protector! If you intend to use a groin protector, please bring an extra pair of underpants with you – so that the groin protector sits between each pair of underpants. Therefore, don’t wear boxer shorts on the day.
The above cost of $55.00 does not cover the cost of $5.00 for a groin protector for men. It is strongly advisable that men purchase this groin protector at the time of arrival (or prior to the competition from a local sports store) particularly if they wish to produce children in the future
Valuables
Leave all valuables at home unless you intend to leave them in your car or hand them to our photographer/caretaker, Marika.
Women should not wear any jewellery on the day unless they wish to dispose of them for good on the day and/or sustain an injury because of such items. Thus, rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, nose/ear studs etc should be left at home.
General procedure upon arrival
In general terms, upon arrival you will be given a waiver form to sign, a camouflage uniform, tea and coffee. Thereafter the staff will give you a lesson on safety issues, the day’s events, paintball rules and teams will then be selected. Given that we require at least 40 individuals to play on our own, we will therefore join another group. Perhaps it will be our group against another group? Let us see on the day.
Protective gear
Safety masks will be allocated to individuals and must be worn at all times on the field to avoid serious eye injury or even blindness.
You might wish to wear thicker clothing underneath the camouflage overalls to minimise bruising from the paintballs, however, this may be uncomfortable if the weather is hot. The best strategy is to avoid getting hit, so watch your back!
Wear comfortable hiking boots or other practical footwear because you will be doing a lot of running (and diving for cover).
Purchase of additional paintballs
If anyone wishes to purchase additional paintballs, this can be done at any time during the day, however, the office at Kulnura has advised that this should preferably be done before lunch. Prices for the purchase of additional paintballs may be obtained prior to, or at the time of arrival. The cost is approximately $22.00 per 100 paintballs, however, this may be verified by phone with Kulnura or at the time of arrival.
The average paintball shooter will use between 500 and 700 paintballs. Therefore, it is suggested that you shoot with precision rather than in a haphazard manner.
Nick-names
You must come with a nick-name for yourself e.g. Myhailo = Mischa. That will be your identity on the paintball field.
Children
Anyone under the age of 18 years is not permitted on the field.
Photographs
Due to the risk of injury, no photographs may be taken whilst paintball activities are taking place. However, Marika will be taking photos before our team departs for the field and upon our return from the field.
Late sign-ups
There is no guarantee that if you make a last minute decision to join the paintball activities by showing up on the day (15.10.06) you will be able to play paintball, nor is there any guarantee that you will be able to join our group on the day. In other words, you might spend part of the day playing with another group or sitting around in Kulnura doing nothing. The decision is up to you.
